We Write Because
We're Curious
Bloomly started in 2022 in Austin, Texas. It's grown, but the purpose hasn't changed: honest writing about the things that make life interesting.
Curiosity as a lifestyle.
Bloomly exists because most lifestyle content online is either too superficial or too specialized. We try to hit the middle: genuinely useful, honest about uncertainty, and written by people who actually find the subject interesting.
We don't take advertising from brands we cover. We disclose affiliate relationships. We correct errors promptly and publicly. We think our readers are smart enough to evaluate evidence themselves β so we show our work.

Five writers. Six categories. One shared belief that good writing makes everything more interesting.
Former restaurant chef turned food writer. Serena spent six years in professional kitchens before deciding to write about food instead of make it. She brings technical precision and genuine love of flavor to everything she publishes.
Marcus writes about the culture of making and consuming β food, music, books, film. He approaches every subject with the same anthropological curiosity and almost always has an interesting historical tangent ready.
James has visited 42 countries and holds strong opinions about both travel methodology and color theory. His travel writing focuses on experience over logistics, and his design writing on principles over trends.
Former UX researcher at a tech company, Maya brings a behavioral lens to both travel writing (why do we travel the way we do?) and tech coverage (does this actually change how people behave?).
Priya has a background in public health research and is relentlessly evidence-focused. Her wellness writing is a reliable antidote to the supplement-selling, pseudoscience-adjacent content that dominates the category.
Lena writes about the texture of daily life β reading habits, music listening, film watching, and the practices that shape how we experience the world. Her writing is personal without being navel-gazing.
